Continuing education keeps master gardener volunteers informed, involved, and learning about research-based horticultural and volunteer topics and advances.
There are now various levels of participation in the UW-Madison Extension Master Gardener Program; including, certified, active, inactive, deactivated, and honored.
Onboarding-lite is required prior to volunteering in 2022. This counts toward five continuing education hours for master gardeners currently in the program.
